OAKLAND -- The Rays lost today, ending a four game winning streak. In the bottom of the first inning, Oakland got it started. Eric Chavez singled to bring home Mark Ellis who doubled and got to third on a sacrifice hit by Chris Denorfia, but the Rays tied it up when Evan Longoria led off the top of the second with a home run. In the third inning, the Rays took a 2-1 lead when Evan Longoria tripled scoring Akinori Iwamura who was on first. With no other scoring in the game, the Rays brought in Percival to close it out in the ninth, but couldn't hold the one run lead.
