DETROIT -- The Rays continue to a four game winning streak, taking game one of four in this final series of the season in Detroit. The Tigers scored first in the fourth on a Carlos Guillen RBI double, but the Rays tied it up in the sixth when Akinori Iwamura hit an RBI single. The Rays then took the lead in the eighth on a solo jack by B.J. Upton, and added to the lead in the ninth when Jason Bartlett belted a huge two-run double. Curtis Granderson tried to spark a rally in the bottom of the ninth with a lead-off home run, but Troy Percival closed it out for yet another save.
