BALTIMORE -- The Rays have won the second game of this three game series in Baltimore against the Orioles. The Rays were quick to strike in the first, Carlos Pena with a huge three-run blast to take an early lead. Carl Crawford extended that lead in the same inning with his own home run, a solo shot. Nick Markakis also homered in the bottom of the frame, a very rare inside-the-park home run to narrow the lead to three. In the fifth inning, B.J. Upton belted a solo shot to center, but Great Johnson gave the O's that one back in the bottom of the inning with a solo shot.Then in the seventh, Melvin Mora brought the Orioles within one with a two-run shot. The Rays added on with one more in the ninth when Rocco Baldelli hit a sacrifice fly to bring home the runner from third, and the lead would hold as the Rays defeat the Orioles two games in a row.
