4/7 - Yankees Take Game Four

The Yankees have won the final game of this four game series in New York between the Yankees and the Rays. Despite scoring first with three runs in the top of the fourth, the Yankees struck back with three runs of their own in the bottom of the fourth. Starting pitcher for the Rays, J.P. Howell did not have a good outing at all, going five and one-third innings giving up five runs on eleven hits to the Yankees. Carlos Pena went 3-4 with one homer and driving in all four of the Rays runs.

Yankees: 5
