4/5 - Rollercoaster of a Game Ends in Rays Loss

The Rays have lost their second game of the season to the Yankees. After scoring two runs in the first inning, the Yankees came back with three runs in the forth including a two-run shot by Alex Rodriguez. The Rays then tied it in the fifth, but the Yankees scored as well in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the lead again. Then in the top of the seventh, the Rays took the lead with a two-run shot by Evan Longoria, but Hideki Matsui tied it up in the bottom of the seventh with a solo shot. The Yankees won with a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth with an RBI single by Johnny Damon scoring Melky Cabrera on second base. Jason Hammel took the loss having given up that walk-off hit. Starting pitcher Edwin Jackson pitched six and one-third innings giving up five earned runs on nine hits and taking the no decision.
