The Rays have won game two of this three game series between the Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bay Rays in Tampa Bay. The Mariners scored first in the top of the second, but the Rays struck back with two runs in the bottom of the second. The Mariners came back with a run of their own in the top of the third to tie it. Evan Longoria hit a two run homer in the bottom of the fourth to give the Rays a two run lead. The Mariners scored again in the top of the seventh narrowing the Mariners lead to one run, but the Rays scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to lock in the victory. Andy Sonnanstine pitched six innings giving up three runs on nine hits to the Mariners and striking out five for his first win of the season.
