Matt Garza: (5 - 4), 3.32 ERA vs. Andrew Miller: (3 - 4), 3.86 ERA

MIAMI -- The Rays have lost their first away interleague game to the Marlins. The Rays scored first in the first on an RBI single hit by Evan Longoria, but Jeremy Hermida belted a solo jack in the second to tie it up, and in the fourth, Dan Uggla jacked a lead-off homer, immediately followed by Hanley Ramirez with his own solo shot, back-to-back blasts. The Marlins scored one more run in the eighth on an RBI single by Luis Gonzalez. Marlins starting pitcher Andrew Miller was going for the complete game, and on strike two to Dioner Navarro, the final batter, he got elbow pains and had to be taken out of the game. His condition is currently unknown.
