Crawford placed on DL; Rays Call Up Gross

Carl Crawford, who was injured in yesterday's game against the Yankees making a diving attempt at catching fly ball, has been placed on the 15 day DL with a broken collarbone. Doctors say it will take more than fifteen days to heal, and that this injury should take about a month to heal. The Rays have called up outfielder Gabe Gross to take Crawford's place on the team while he's out.
